2. Casting and Machining
The pump body and impeller are typically formed using a precision casting process. Subsequently, CNC machine tools perform turning, milling, and drilling to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish. The motor requires machining of the stator slots, rotor shaft, and heat dissipation structure to meet electrical and mechanical performance requirements.
3. Motor Assembly and Winding
The core of a submersible pump is the motor. Its production process includes stator winding, insulation treatment, and rotor dynamic balancing. The windings must be made of high-temperature enameled wire and vacuum-impregnated for enhanced insulation and water resistance. The rotor undergoes dynamic balancing to reduce vibration and noise during operation.
4. Pump and Motor Integration
The finished pump body and motor are assembled using a sealing structure (such as a mechanical seal or rubber seal) to ensure complete waterproofing. The clearance between the impeller and shaft must be strictly controlled to ensure efficient hydraulic performance.
5. Quality Inspection and Testing
The finished product undergoes rigorous performance testing, including withstand voltage testing, insulation resistance testing, and actual water flow and head testing. Some products also undergo long-term continuous operation tests to verify reliability.
6. Surface Treatment and Packaging
Finally, the pump body is treated with rust-proof spraying or electroplating, and a nameplate is affixed. Qualified products are packaged and stored for shipment.
