The sealing system is a core technology for submersible pumps. It typically consists of mechanical seals and O-rings, preventing liquids from seeping into the motor cavity and preventing motor grease from leaking and contaminating the water supply. Cables must be waterproof and corrosion-resistant, typically using heavy-duty rubber-sheathed cables, connected to the motor via a junction box. The control system includes protective devices such as overload protection, leakage protection, and a float switch to ensure automatic shutdown in the event of an abnormality, extending the submersible pump's service life.
